You are invited to submit papers and participate in the 1st National Conference on Arts and Culture for Local Development under the theme “Palm Leaf Manuscripts, Northern Thai Folding Books, and Ancient Documents: Cultural Capital to Soft Power.”

Organized by Art and Culture Institute, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, in collaboration with academic institutions, cultural networks, and communities in Mueang District, Chiang Mai, this conference provides a platform for faculty members, scholars, students, and the public, both from within and outside the institution, to present their research. The event also serves as a space for sharing knowledge and experiences on related topics to further develop arts and culture for local development.
The event will feature special lectures, oral and poster presentations on December 2, 2024, at the Geneva Conference Room, Mercure Hotel, Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai. On December 3, 2024, at Wat Chiang Chom, Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai, attendees can enjoy exhibitions, workshops, cultural performances, and a cultural market.
