Abstract

The purposes of this research are to investigate the history and innovation process of

nano cotton production of Ban Nong Ngueak, Mae Raeng subdiatrict, Pa Sang district, Lamphun

province and to further promote the marketing of nano cotton products using qualitative

research and quantitative research methods The samples used in this research were

community enterprise group, handwoven cotton and nano cotton processing group of Ban

Nong Ngueak and a group of 364 consumers/customers. The research tools for this study were

questionnaires and interviews by using the description in data analysis on related issues of

data.

The result found that the nano cotton innovation was initiated by the community

residents living in Ban Nong Ngueak, most of whom were engaged in weaving work since the

beginning. Then, they joined together to form a cotton weaving group with only 17 members.
The innovative nano cotton fabric process uses the ENZease enzymes to prepare cotton fabric,

which is bleached by stripping starch and removing impurities After the had weaving is

completed, the cloth will be sent to the National Science and Technology Development

Agency (NSTDA) for coating to increase softness, aroma, antibacterial, UV-resistance, and water

reflection.For promotion and further marketing towards nano-cotton products has resulted in
the development of new designs from traditional patterns to maintain the community

uniqueness and create a woven identity of the community.
